Tiffany Christian – Young Adults
Adulting is hard! And adulting as a Christian can be even harder. The Young Adult small group is a space and place where anyone, ages 18 to twenty-whatever, can come for discipleship, encouragement, fellowship, and good old-fashioned advice. The goal is to build a network that Rock young adults can rely along as they navigate the transitions of early adulthood. Our meetings will usually begin with some type of focused teaching/discussion but we embrace the freedom to respond to the needs of the group and be flexible.
Meeting time: Sundays 6:00-7:30 PM
First meeting: September 12 with a break during the Thanksgiving/Christmas holidays.
Diane Mazza – Prayer on Purpose
Have you ever felt the urge to pray but weren’t sure where to start? Perhaps feeling unsure how to begin, what to say, how to say it, what steps the bible lays out to be an effective prayer warrior? After hearing others pray have you ever felt insecure that your prayers aren’t as eloquent, there perhaps less effective? I know I have.
Learn how to pray with power and purpose. Become more confident in your ability. We all have power in our spoken words and we need to learn how to put that power to work for the Kingdom of Heaven to be manifested on earth.
Our prayer styles and techniques are as different and unique as we are. There is no right way to pray. Learn to recognize your gifting and put your prayers into action.

Here is the summary of this first study we will do: Where is God when you’re hurting? Why does it feel like He doesn’t hear your prayers? Can He be trusted? Michael Gragg – Studying Ephesians – Online through Facebook with Videos on FB and YouTube
Join Pastor Michael as we learn together what it means to be A Church Alive. Each week will be diving deeper into the book of Ephesians. This book contains everything you could imagine on living a life for Christ. Ephesians addresses the entire believer from our minds to our household conduct. A video will be posted each week with a reading and reflection assignment. The reading will be manageable and the discussion will primarily be through Facebook. The videos will also be
published on YouTube as well.
Each Thursday a new video will be uploaded for your interaction. Each group member will have a week to do the reading and reflecting. First video will be uploaded on September 9.
